If you are in the Las Vegas area and need a nice off strip hotel. This is the one for you! This is one of my favorite brands in the SPG brand. These rooms are mini suites, sort of like the Residence Inns in the Marriott chain but in my opinion much better. Mostly because they are newer I guess. The furniture is really nice, it has the famous Starwood beds, and a lot of amenities like a full size refrigerator in the room, microwave, dishwasher, stove top and of course pots & pans and dishes. The t.v is a 32 inch flat screen and they have DVD players in the rooms. Internet is FREE!! The desk is really big and has a box on it w/ all kind of connection options. On the first floor you have a nice but small work out room, and just down the hall from the gym is a public laundry room.
What I especially like about this brand is that it is a green hotel. Meaning they have recycle containers everywhere. All the products in the rooms are recycled or green in one way or the other LOL.
This hotel is WAY off strip and you will need to get a rental car. I’ve never cabbed it from the airport, but another traveler there told me it cost her $32 to get a cab from the airport to this location. There is a lot of parking (which is free by the way) BUT sometimes this hotel gets really full and if you come back late after a night out with friends the parking can be a bit hard to find.
All in all, if you have a long stay planned in Vegas and you don’t want the craziness of the strip. Element Las Vegas is a great place to stay. They have studio’s, deluxe studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedroom suites here. I personally like the studio’s. As a SPG platinum guest I can be upgraded to the best available suite on the property, but I always tell them to just give me the deluxe studio. I like how open the floor plan is. The One bedroom is nice, but I just like the flow and openness of the studio better.
